Skoda will present the Octavia Coupé concept in Geneva

The main attraction of the Skoda exhibition in Geneva will undoubtedly be the four-door coupe concept, foreshadowing the production Octavia Coupé. However, VisionC does not only show the new model , but also foreshadows the design of the new Fabia or the facelift of the classic Octavia.

Similar to the classic Octavia, the VisionC will stand on the modular MQB platform , which is used across the entire range of Volkswagen Group models. Finally, the four-door coupe will indeed offer the triangle-shaped headlights that were already speculated at the end of last November. Of course, the shape of the body, similar to other concern "coupes" in the form of Audi A5 Sportback or Volkswagen CC, will not be missing.

VisionC is also the next stage of development of the car company's design language . According to some information, we could also see some elements of this concept on the next generation Fabia or Octavia facelift, which will arrive around 2016 . In the same year, the production version of the Vision C, known as the Octavia Coupé, will also reach showrooms.

Under its hood, we can find several versions of TSI turbocharged four-cylinder engines , as well as TDI diesel engines . However, it is very premature to speculate about specific performances or driving dynamics.
