Skoda is preparing a modernization for the Superb

Yesterday we showed you spy shots of the Skoda Octavia Combi III . These photos, which depict camouflaged prototypes of the modernized Superb , come from the same source.

It will get new front lights, a bumper with fog lights in the style of Octavia and Rapid or a new radiator grille in the style of the mentioned models. In the rear part, Skoda is going to "kill" relatively original, but controversial lights , which should replace reflectors that will resemble some other models of the concern.

Technically, the Superb should not lose the Twindoor system and, on the contrary, should get a little bit of the new TSI and TDI units. Whether the top-of-the-line six-cylinder will remain in the offer or it will be replaced by one of the more economical TSI units is the question.

The modernized Superb in both station wagon and sedan versions will be available until the end of this year. The probable place of the premiere is the autumn Frankfurt Motor Show .
