Skoda Superb L&K will serve Miloš Zeman as a company car

The newly elected president of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, will drive a Skoda Superb . A black Superb in top Laurin & Klement equipment will serve as the state limousine . Miloš Zeman already used the Skoda flagship for the trip to his inauguration on March 8, 2013. In addition, the presidential fleet will be expanded by two more Skoda Superb cars from April.

"We are very pleased that even the incoming President of the Republic, Miloš Zeman , will be using a Skoda car," says the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Skoda company, Prof. Dr. hc Winfried Vahland. "The fact that the head of state will drive a Skoda car fills us with pride and proves the brand's close connection with the Czech Republic. The Superb is the flagship of the brand and a symbol of the high technical level of the Czech Republic," adds Vahland. "All Skoda employees are proud that even in the 118th year of the car company's existence, the President of the Republic will drive a Skoda car."

Already in the 1930s, Skoda produced the Superb model for demanding customers. Since 2001, the Superb has once again crowned the model range. In the past year, around 110,000 customers around the world chose the Skoda Superb model. On world markets, this car is synonymous with Made in Czech Republic quality. The Magic Black Metallic car is powered by a 191kW 3.6 FSI V6 petrol engine mated to a six-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox. On the occasion of the inauguration, the presidential Superb will ride on 18″ Sirius wheels in a dark finish. In normal operation, the vehicle will ride on 17″ wheels.
