Skoda Superb in America

As you probably all know, Skoda from Mladá Boleslav has not been bringing its latest models to the USA for quite a few years. However, Irish journalist Bob Flavin, who knows why, brought an end-of-generation Skoda Superb Combi in top Laurin & Klement trim with a two-liter TDI under the hood overseas (and operated it on diplomatic license plates) and subjected it to the sharp scrutiny of Washington residents. Their reaction will quite possibly surprise you – many, due to their ignorance of the Czech car manufacturer, after sitting down, tipped the Superb to be a BMW or Mercedes competitor. The classic trademark of Skoda cars is a large interior space, one of those interviewed after a short drive couldn't even believe that it was a diesel car…
