Tons of things have already been written about the Skoda Rapid , i.e. the initial MissionL prototype, since its first presentation last year in Geneva. In recent days, photos of prototypes have also begun to appear, plowing the highway in the Central Bohemia region. However, we have so far lacked proper evidence of how the new Rapid drives.
Starting this morning, everything is different. After all, Skoda went to test the new model on the famous North Loop of the Nürburgring, following the example of all car companies, and the spies of the WORLDCARFANS.com server were there again! It is not known what engine is under the hood of a particular piece, but let's assume one of the more powerful variants of the turbocharged four-cylinder TSI.
Skoda Rapid should appear at dealers already at the end of this year. In the manufacturer's portfolio, it will fill the gap between the Fabia and Octavia models, and prices should also be adjusted accordingly. The basic rapid, which will probably be available with a 1.2 TSI engine with an output of 77 kW, could thus cost around 300,000 crowns.
