Classic Skoda Rapid with engine from Alfa Romeo 164

We already know what happens when you put Nissan Silvia technology into the Lady 2104 . We already know what happens when you put a hydraulic chassis and an eight-cylinder engine in the Lady Niva . But what happens when you cross a Skoda Rapid and a six-cylinder Alfa 164 ?

One Polish enthusiast decided to find out, and from this equation he came up with a great result – a classic Rapid with a properly extended body, new wheels and, above all, a three-liter six-cylinder engine instead of rear seats.

In order for such an engine to handle the somewhat older technology of the Czechoslovak coupe , the modifier widened the rear axle and, hand in hand, the rear tires. Bigger brakes are also a matter of course. The bodywork itself received black matte paint , chrome bumpers and there are also four exhaust tips.

The interior consists of bucket seats , a protective frame, a sports steering wheel and a mix of elements from Alfa, Skoda and who knows what else. The red color in combination with the matte exterior creates an interesting contrast.

Even though we don't know the exact dynamic parameters , the sound and above all the knock of the car, visible in the attached videos, is very impressive. The final question is whether you would like to have a similar car at home … I personally say a resounding yes!
