Skoda Octavia with six cylinders and two turbos

Octavia from Poland , presented today, deviates a bit from the habits of the last weeks. This is because we mainly present to you cars with an older date of birth , to which their owners devoted extraordinary care and literally turned them into jewels on four wheels. But don't be fooled – this Octavia is also among the jewels on four wheels, only the date of birth is somewhat more recent.

Originally, this was a fairly ordinary Octavia of the first generation with a turbocharged 18 and all-wheel drive. Then a group of technicians under the banner of R-Performance took her to the show and created a monster with a 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine with a power of 250 hp originally from the Golf R32 of the fifth generation. The latter was supplemented with twin Garrett turbochargers , a Rothe-Motorsport intake manifold, Bosch injectors and fuel pump, and a cast iron exhaust manifold. The result is 595 horsepower and 650 Nm , which is sent to all wheels by a modified six-speed manual transmission. In order for the chassis to cope with such a portion, the Octavia has reinforced suspension from KW and HR stabilizers at the front and rear.

The appearance of the body is based on the regular Octavia RS, but the front bumper, the rear bumper with two exhaust tips have been modified, and the hood now has more places for air intake. Behind the eighteen-inch wheels we find reinforced Brembo brakes. The interior received Recaro seats originally from the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII , an instrument panel from a modernized Skoda Superb, white backlighting of all instruments and decor in black piano lacquer.
