Skoda is enriching the model range with another Simply Clever solution

The Skoda model range will soon be safer and more versatile. From June 2013, the Citigo , Fabia , Roomster, Rapid and Yeti models will receive many new features and improvements – extended safety equipment, new Simply Clever solutions and new attractive engines. News comes to individual models as part of the start of production of cars of the 2014 model year.

Those interested in the Citigo , the best-selling car in the "mini" category on the Czech market, can now opt for a driver's seat with Easy Entry with memory as part of the optional equipment. In the case of the three-door Citigo variant, the seat is equipped with a position memory. The driver no longer has to readjust the position of the seat every time someone gets in or out of the back seat. For the five-door version, there is a passenger seat with a folding backrest . A simple mechanism enables the backrest to be quickly folded forward, creating a loading area up to 1.75 m long inside the car.

Active safety and design are the unifying element of most new products in the Skoda Fabia and Roomster model lines. The popular small car and the brand's first MPV will now offer the ESC electronic stabilization system as standard in all trim levels. The new Simply Clever element in the form of a child rear-view mirror also contributes to greater safety. This is an additional panoramic mirror that allows the driver to check the children in the back seats without having to turn and thus losing sight of the situation in front of the car.

News also appears in the Czech market leaders in the segments of the lower middle class and cars with all-wheel drive. While the Skoda Rapid gained electric rear window control from the driver 's seat, the SUV Yeti saw a change at the top of the range of diesel engines. The 2.0 TDI/125 kW unit, supplied exclusively with all-wheel drive, is now also available with a dual-clutch DSG transmission . Higher driving comfort goes hand in hand with favorable fuel consumption, which reaches 6.3 l/100 km in the combined cycle.
