The days when the final form of the car was presented to the public for the first time only at the official ceremonial unveiling are long gone. After all, it is not surprising when every cell phone has a camera today, a spy is hiding behind every tree, and every second computer illiterate gets into secure databases. We certainly can't mind it, because thanks to it we know the serial form of the new generation of Leon , which was supposed to be shown to the world for the first time only in the fall.
At first glance, the new Seat Leon takes its design cues from the stylish IBE Coupe concept, which first appeared at the Paris Motor Show. Already at that time, the concept was received very positively, and everything indicated the direction in which Seat would go. In the pictures, you can see a five-door hatchback, which, of course, should also be supplemented with a three-door variant and possibly a practical station wagon.
The new MQB modular platform, on which the new Leon will be built, first appeared in the new generation Audi A3 . In the same way, the seventh generation Golf will soon be introduced, with which the Leon will share a complete range of power units. In addition to the well-known gasoline and diesel units, there are also rumors of a plug-in hybrid.
The shape of the new Seat Leon is out. How will the car company itself react to this? Hopefully she will come forward with new information and better pictures herself.
