Scion tC has undergone modernization

The American automaker Scion is celebrating its tenth birthday this year. As a gift, she gave herself not only several special models in the annual edition of the 10 Series , but mainly the modernization of her best-selling model .

The Scion tC coupe thus received completely new headlights, hood, rear diffuser and LED diodes wherever it was possible. The design of the cast wheels also received cosmetic changes. The interior received new upholstery and a 6.1-inch display appears on the center console. BeSpoke premium audio can also be purchased for an additional fee.

There are no changes under the hood – the single 181-horsepower 2.5 four-cylinder continues, which is connected to a six-speed manual or a modernized six-speed automatic. The tC chassis received new stabilizers, upgraded shock absorbers and improved power steering.

At the stand, this new product was complemented by the entire model range in a special version of the 10 Series , which refers to the date of the brand's founding. All models across the range are painted in Silver Ignition and offer an illuminated car logo (activated when the car is unlocked). The interior of all versions offers an illuminated gear lever, silver seat belts and a modified display on the instrument panel.

The smallest models – iQ, xB and xD also offer wheels in a graphite shade, the FR-S coupe has extended equipment with automatic air conditioning or front HID lights. A total of 10,000 cars with the 10 Series logo will be produced. Production will begin in June this year.
