Rolls-Royce revealed a test mule of the new SUV

No, there really isn't April Fool's Day, and the seventh episode of The Fast and the Furious is already more than a week after its premiere. This is how bizarrely the test mule of the upcoming SUV or crossover from the Rolls-Royce workshops, currently using the name Project Cullinan , looks.

The shortened body of the Phantom Series II was created specifically to test the all-wheel drive in combination with an active chassis that can change the ground clearance according to the current need. The aim of the driving tests, which take place on all possible surfaces including Belgian pavement, classic cat heads or cracked concrete, is to obtain as much data as possible about the behavior of the already mentioned chassis with a high body. The new SUV will undoubtedly have it, but don't expect elements from the Phantom or this test mule. In the spirit of the best traditions, Rolls-Royce promises perfect comfort on the road and surprising features off it. However, we have to wait a few months or even years for real tests. The first estimates speak of a premiere sometime in 2017 or 2018 .
