Renault has modernized the MPV Scénic

Last year, the pair of MPV Scénic and Grand Scénic underwent a very extensive modernization , which completely changed the entire design of the model. After a year, however, Renault decided to resort to further changes in appearance and technology.

But Renault's intention is more or less understandable – it needed to unite the Scénic with the other new models of the brand. And this plan worked perfectly for him! The front part has already received the characteristic location of the logo , which has also increased compared to the outgoing version. In addition to the emblem, the Scénic also has a new radiator grille and the composition of the front lights has been subtly changed. However, the rest of the design remained untouched.

More softened materials are used in the interior, especially in the area of the navigation system. A big innovation in the case of the Scénic is the introduction of the R-Link multimedia system. It can be controlled by touch, but at the same time you also have a joystick on the central tunnel. On some versions, Renault also added a quality Bose audio system .

The automaker has not yet released many technical details. However, according to the press release, we can look forward to three new engines of the Energy series , which have lower consumption and emissions than the corresponding units in the current Scénic. One of them will be the Energy TCe 130 unit, which is supposed to be up to 15% more demanding than the previous TCe 130 unit.

The world premiere of the model will take place at the Geneva Motor Show in March, where the modernized Scénic range will be presented alongside the modernized Kangoo van , the Captur SUV and, of course, the Scénic XMOD "crossover".
