Renault Maxity H2 for French Post

The French post office put into operation in the city of Dole the new Renault Maxity H2 truck, which was produced by Renault Trucks in cooperation with the SymbioFCell company, for one year. The 4.5-tonne Maxity Électrique box car has fuel cells that increase the car's range by up to two times. The car is powered by an asynchronous electric motor with an output of 47 kW and a torque of 270 Nm. The lithium-iron phosphate batteries have a capacity of 42 kWh and are fully charged for seven hours. The fuel cell has a capacity of 45 kWh. The two reservoirs can hold 150 liters, i.e. roughly 4 kilograms of hydrogen. The car has a maximum speed of 90 km/h and a range of approximately 200 kilometers. Due to the demanding climatic conditions, the city of Dole is regularly selected for testing new postal vehicles.
