Renault introduced the Captur with a more powerful diesel engine

Up until these days, the Captur's only diesel engine was a 90-horsepower "decé" in combination with a five-quart manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. However, with the special Pure edition , a more powerful diesel with a power of 110 hp and a torque of 260 Nm is finally arriving.

The novelty is thus 20 hp and 40 Nm more powerful than the existing unit and with a six-speed manual transmission consumes only 3.7 l/100 km, which is equivalent to 98 g CO2/km. Complying with the Euro 6 emission standard is a matter of course. The stylish crossover reaches 100 km/h in 11.03 seconds and continues smoothly up to 175 km/h. The unit is offered in France in the Zen, Intens, Helly Hansen and Business grades for a base price of 21,600 euros (approx. 597,000 crowns).

Renault also "celebrates" the arrival of the new engine with a limited Pure series , which will be available only in France in the number of 1000 units. Its visual specifics consist of a unique Cassiopée gray paint with special ornaments decorated with a black roof and mirrors. Inside, gray-black leather upholstery and carpets await, as well as door sills with the name of the edition. As part of the equipment, the Captur Pure is based on the Intens grade, to which it adds the Techno Pack with the R-Link multimedia system and a reversing camera. The basic price is 23,800 euros (approx. 658,000 crowns) with the TCe 120 EDC engine, the new diesel will cost 25,100 euros (approx. 694,000 crowns).
