Renault completes the Clio range

The fourth generation of Renault Clio has been on the market for exactly two years, during which time it managed to gain quite a decent reputation in Europe. The already wide range of versions, ranging from a hatchback for 230,000 to the sporty version of the RS, is now being supplemented by two versions with a completely different focus .

We can start with the sportier end of the offer, where in addition to the RS and GT versions, the GT Line package will also be available. It can be combined with the Zen and Intens equipment levels, but instead of mechanical modifications, it only brings changes in appearance. The basic one is a new front bumper with LED daytime running lights in combination with 17- inch Design GT wheels (the Zen trim has wheels an inch smaller). Other changes include protective strips painted in body color, modified rear bumper with only one exhaust tailpipe, dark mirror caps, door handles, diffuser and daytime running light surrounds, RenaultSport side skirts and GT Line logo on the fifth door. The package is only available with the hatchback body and one of the TCe 90, TCe 120 EDC, dCi 75, dCi 90 or dCi 90 EDC engines. The surcharge for the standard version is an acceptable 600 euros (approx. 16,500 crowns).

At the other end of the range is the luxury Initiale Paris version , recognizable by its elegant 17-inch wheels, new fog lights, Initiale Paris logos, special exhaust tips and LEDs for daytime running lights, incorporated into the main xenon headlights . Especially for the Initiale Paris version, non-metallic Ivoire paint and Givre Gray metallic are available. Many more changes took place in the interior, which received Nappa leather-trimmed sports seats (front heated) in two-tone design with embroidered Initiale Paris logo, a steering wheel trimmed in the same material and a fake leather-covered dashboard and door panels. The door handles and center console are painted in body color, which houses the new R-Link 2 multimedia system and automatic climate control. Overall, the luxurious atmosphere is completed by new ambient lighting, special carpets, aluminum pedals and a new ceiling covering. You can also get a panoramic roof and a rear parking camera for an additional fee. There are a total of three engines under the hood – TCe 90 for 21,500 euros (approx. 591,000 crowns), TCe 120 EDC for 23,600 euros (approx. 649,000 crowns) and dCi 90 with manual for 23,800 euros (approx. 654,000 crowns) or automatic EDC for 25,200 euros (approx. 693,000 crowns).
