And who is behind this definition today? New from the Ram car manufacturer – Power Wagon , based on the 2500 Heavy Duty 4×4 Crew Cab model. It is already unmistakable at first glance – thanks to the new Bilstein shock absorbers with longer springs, it has a ground clearance of 36.8 cm, which is 5 cm more than the base model. Another welcome change is the winch (5.5 tonne towing capacity), seventeen-inch wheels with 33-inch tires and undercarriage protection.
The front approach angle is now 34 degrees, the rear is 23.5 degrees and the crossing angle is 25.5 degrees. Detachable transverse stabilizers , as well as the Ram Articulink system on the front axle, which improves the crossability of the axles, ensure better cross-country ability. You can load a load with a maximum weight of up to 676 kg on the bed, and the towing capacity is even 4903 kg.
Under the hood is a 5.7-liter eight-cylinder Hemi with a power of 416 horsepower and a torque of 581 Nm. The cylinder deactivation system is a relief to the environment, and the power is sent to all wheels by a six-speed automatic transmission .
The Power Wagon will be on sale in Tradesman, SLT and Laramie trim levels. The basic model costs 45,690 dollars (approx. 908,000 CZK), the middle equipment (in the pictures) costs 50,340 dollars (approx. 1,000,000 CZK) and the best model costs 56,015 dollars (approx. 1,113,000 CZK). In the equipment of the highest version, we can find a chrome radiator mask (lower versions have a mask in the body color), leather seats or fender edges in the body color.
