The Ram 750 is a rebadged Fiat Strada

The Italian automaker has extensive experience in selling Fiats with the badge of another car concern. Most recently, for example, the Dodge Forza went on sale in Venezuela or the Ram ProMaster City in the USA. And another novelty has something to do with the American legend among pickups, this time aimed at Mexican customers .

Even Europeans are certainly familiar with the small Italian pickup truck Fiat Strada , popular especially in Brazil. The Ram 750 , that is the novelty on the Mexican market, is its identical twin, at first glance only differing in the logo on the hood, wheels and body. In the interior we can find at least a new steering wheel and instrument panel , but the rest is again Fiat.

The offer currently includes two versions – Single Cab with two seats and Club Cab with four seats and opposite opening doors. The basic equipment of both models includes ABS, power steering, front fog lights, electric front windows, radio with CD and MP3 , air conditioning and on-board computer. In addition, the Club Cab has central locking, electric mirrors , sunroof, multifunction steering wheel and MyCar infotainment .

Despite the fact that the front axle is driven , the Club Cab version received off-road-looking body elements. Under the hood is a 16-liter E-TorQ petrol engine with a power of 115 hp and a torque of 117 Nm, working with a manual five-speed manual . Single Cab will cost 182,900 pesos (approx. 299,000 crowns), Club Cab costs 241,900 pesos (approx. 396,000 crowns).
