Qoros presented the hatchback 3 Hatch in more detail

During January, Qoros released the first photos and a small portion of information about its latest creation , which is aimed at the most popular segment in Europe. Less than two weeks before the official premiere, the Chinese-Israeli automaker published new photos and complete technical data that you need to know about the Golf competitor .

The Qoros 3 Hatch stands on the same platform as the sedan – the only difference is the 177 mm shorter body length , which now measures 4438 mm. The wheelbase of 2690 mm, as well as the height and width, remained the same as for the sedan. The design has undergone a slight evolution since the introduction of the three-seater version – the front part has a modified radiator grille , new fog lights and a redesigned bumper. The rear part of course offers a classic fifth door , a relatively large cargo edge of the trunk and lights taken from last year's Cross Hybrid concept. Sixteen-inch wheels are included in the basic equipment, but for an additional fee, they are also offered one or two inches larger.

The interior will be dominated by the eight-inch touch screen of the Multi Media Hub multimedia system , which will cooperate with audio with four or even six speakers. In the basic equipment, we also find a 3.5-inch TFT display between the alarm clocks, electric windows or electric mirrors.

Under the hood, a 16-liter gasoline engine will appear in both an atmospheric and a turbocharged version. The naturally aspirated version generates 126 horsepower and a maximum torque of 155 Nm. In combination with the six-speed manual , the hatchback accelerates to 100 km/h in 11.6 seconds and needs 6.3 l/100 km, if you choose the six-speed dual-clutch automatic , you will be one second slower and 0.2 l/100 km more economical. The turbocharged unit has 156 hp and 210 Nm, and is only available with a DCT dual-clutch automatic . Acceleration to 100 km/h takes place in 9.7 seconds, the maximum speed is 210 km/h. Even in the case of the turbocharged version, consumption remains at a respectable 6.5 l/100 km.
