Next year it will be thirty years since the Rapid coupe appeared on the market. The Mladoboleslav car company is reportedly planning the return of this body variant , which should be shown stylishly next year.
At least that's what the Dutch Autoblog.nl claims, citing its own source in the car company. The appearance of the coupe could be based on the liftback , but under the hood should remain a complete range of engines (perhaps except for the basic three-cylinder), available for the liftback and Spaceback respectively. The top engine will be the 1.4 TSI with 122 horsepower.
However, you all surely have a rendering of the possible form of the Rapid Spaceback RS in mind. Skoda is stubbornly silent and when it speaks, it refutes all speculations, but wouldn't the coupe be the right body option for the sporty Rapid ?
From the sports version, however, back to earth – specifically to the 1.2 TSI variant , which could be the best-selling coupe. The Dutch portal claims that the basic price of this engine with a manual transmission will not exceed 20,000 euros (approx. 511,000 CZK). If you ask for the best, i.e. the 1.4 TSI engine, you will pay a maximum of around 24,000 euros (approx. 613,000 CZK).
