Porsche shows its secret prototypes

From September 17th to January 11th, the Project: Secret exhibition will take place in the Stuttgart Porsche Museum. As part of it, less well-known prototypes of this brand will be presented to the public. And what can you look forward to if you take a trip? For example, on the type 984 , a small sports car whose target group was supposed to be younger customers. The car was developed in 1984 and was powered by a rear-mounted two- litre boxer engine. A convertible or four-wheel drive version was also considered, but development was halted in 1987. There will also be a 989 type intended as a family sports car. Work on this car began in 1988 and it was supposed to be launched in 1995. It was to be powered by a 4.2-liter, 257 kW, forked eight-cylinder engine. According to the calculations, the car would be much more expensive than the competition, so even this project did not see serial production. If you want to see them with your own eyes, all you have to do is go to the museum of the car company.
