The crossover 3008 from Peugeot , often criticized for its design, has undergone a major modernization of its appearance, which many have been calling for for a long time. The modifications will be presented somewhat unconventionally in China and will reach the market during the next year.
The most significant change is the almost completely redesigned front part . The front mask looks completely different, which now more or less coincides with that of the SUV 4008 , the bumper has also undergone a change with a new location of the fog lights, as well as the lights, which have received LEDs . In the rear part of the car, it doesn't look like there have been any big changes, here the composition of the headlights was rather delicately worked on.
Not much has changed in the interior – the novelty will "only" receive a new steering wheel and audio controls. The range of engines in China is very austere – it consists of only a pair of engines. The basic version is a two-liter with 147 horsepower, the more powerful is the 1.6 THP with 163 horsepower . Both engines will be exclusively paired with a Tiptronic automatic and front-wheel drive.
The premiere will take place tomorrow at the Canton Motor Show, and subsequent production will take place at the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. Whether the facelift in this form will reach Europe is unknown. Peugeot marks the car with the label " only for China ". We should have clarity on this issue by March of next year at the latest.
