Peugeot modified the RCZ R to produce 300 horsepower

The Peugeot RCZ R certainly does not suffer from a lack of power, but there are certainly many people who think that the French coupe could use a few dozen more horses . Now Peugeot listened to them and showed a modified coupe at the Motor Bike Expo , bearing the name of the motorcycle company Bimota , which also participated in the modification.

If the RCZ R Bimota seems too long, you can shorten it to PB104 , where PB stands for the Peugeot and Bimota brands and the numbers refer to the first joint project of a four-wheeled vehicle. Anyone familiar with the world of motorcycles will be familiar with the Italian tricolor coupe . This is exactly what the Italian motorcycle company uses on its racing machines. In addition, the red and white go well with the black wheels.

The interior is also red , used for the stitching of the alcantara-upholstered seats, steering wheel and dashboard, as well as for the frames of the ventilation outlets and alarm clocks. The door handles have a white stripe in addition to the red one. A seven-inch display of the TomTom Bridge multimedia system with navigation "enthrones" in front of the passenger, and two GoPro cameras represent other audiovisual equipment. Belonging to the motorcycle world is revealed by a leather box with two helmets instead of rear seats.

However, the most interesting novelty of the sporty Peugeot is hidden under the hood. The turbocharged THP sixteen received a modified turbo blow-off valve, a new exhaust system and a reprogrammed control unit, which raised the output from 270 to 305 hp . The front wheels continue to be driven via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Higher performance also comes with larger four-piston brakes with discs with a diameter of 380 mm at the front and a chassis lowered by 10 mm.
