Peugeot 208 HYbrid FE will be presented in Geneva

For the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, which we will not be missing, the French car manufacturer Peugeot has prepared the presentation of the hybrid version of the 208 model . The car will bear the name Hybrid FE and will be presented as a concept for the time being. However, it is already certain that the small hybrid is expected in the future.

The 208 Hybrid FE is developed in collaboration with the French oil and gas company Total . The manufacturer therefore promises literally extreme economic parameters and dynamic driving characteristics.

No photos of the car have been released yet. However, this fact tries to balance the currently available information. The 208 Hybrid FE concept will have an aerodynamically modified exterior that has a much lower drag coefficient than the regular versions. The car will also be equipped with special alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tires. In addition to these modifications, there will be composite and polycarbonate materials from Hutchinson and CCP, which reduced the weight of the car by 200 kilograms.

Under the hood, we will see a 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine, which will be assisted by an electric motor. The power of both units will be transmitted to the front wheels through an EGC semi-automatic transmission. The manufacturer promises the possibility of setting several eco programs, thanks to which the small Peugeot emits an average of only 49 grams of CO2 per kilometer driven. At the same time, it won't be a hoot. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds.
