The Japanese developed the platform of the new Mazda MX-5 together with the Fiat concern. It was originally supposed to belong to the new Alfa Romeo Spider . However, according to the new decisions, all Alfas are to be absolutely Italian, so we will probably see a small roadster under a different brand. Maybe Fiat will resurrect the Barchetta or the legendary 124 Spider , maybe the Abarth brand will get a new roadster. And the rendering of such an Abarth based on the Miata was created by Theophilus Chin . Doesn't look bad at all, what do you say?
