The Passat with a diesel engine received an extra portion of power

The new Volkswagen Passat with a twice-turbocharged two-liter diesel engine under the hood, all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual- clutch DSG automatic transmission is the dream of many a manager. And when the specialists from B&B Automobiltechnik take a look at the engine, even the company director himself begins to desire it.

In the standard configuration, the two-liter BiTDI has an output of 240 horsepower and a torque of 500 Nm. The basic version from B&B for 1,298 euros (approx. 36,000 crowns) increases these values to 275 hp and 570 Nm . The main changes consist of an increase in turbo filling pressure by 0.2 bar, better electronics, optimized intake and cooling, and the installation of a stainless steel exhaust pipe. The second level of modification for 3,950 euros (approx. 109,000 crowns) is certainly more interesting with a power of 300 horses and a torque of 630 Nm. Especially when the Passat Variant reaches 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. You can also pay extra for appearance changes including lowering the chassis, 19-inch or 20-inch wheels and an optical body kit.
