Opel Zafira Tourer received a new unit

The concept of the third generation Opel Zafira was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011, but the Zafira C Tourer was revealed in serial form only at the Frankfurt exhibition center of the same year. The German car manufacturer announced these days that customers will be able to purchase the Zafira Tourer with a new engine .

Specifically, the 2.0 -liter CDTI BiTurbo four-cylinder diesel engine with 195 hp and 400 Nm of torque will appear in the offer. With this power unit, the Zafira Tourer accelerates in 8.9 seconds, while it takes 8.5 seconds from 80-120 km/h. The family MPV has a top speed of 218 km/h and Opel has claimed that it is the fastest diesel seven-seater MPV in the segment. The combined fuel consumption of the new unit is around 5.6 l/100 km .

If you are not interested in this motorization, there are three more diesel units and four petrol units available. Of course, there are engines for alternative fuels – LPG or CNG . The Opel Zafira Tourer BiTurbo can be ordered now and will enter the market this April. On the German market, it starts at a price of 35,405 Euros (approximately 909,000 crowns).
