Opel also showed a new form of the Vivaro van

After yesterday's unveiling of the Renault Trafic , today we will continue the wave of light commercial vehicles . Shortly after the Frenchman, his twin with the Opel logo and the name Vivaro was revealed to the world.

It probably won't surprise many people that the design of both cars is different only in the details. Compared to the Trafic, the Vivaro has a chrome grille, a different front bumper and also boasts LED daytime running lights in the front headlights. Only at Opel we can see for the first time the rendering of the rear part , which is not so different from its predecessor (mainly using a similar style of headlights). The German brand also offers three versions of the exterior design as well as 11 body paints , of which 6 will be metallic.

Like the Trafic, the Vivaro will be on sale in several variants including a classic van , a combined cargo and passenger model, a Combi version or a pure minibus . Add to that two lengths (the shorter one is around 5 meters, the longer one 40 cm more) and two body heights, and you have several dozen options for combining body type and dimensions.

Under the hood, there will be a pair of diesels produced by Renault with the designation 1.6 CDTI and 1.6 BiTurbo CDTI . As you probably correctly guessed, the BiTurbo version means the already mentioned Trafic engine with a pair of turbochargers . Consumption in the case of the BiTurbo version has fallen below 6 l/100 km and for both engines it is about 1 l/100 km more than its predecessors.
