New information has become public that the German automaker Opel is reportedly preparing a variant of its Adam model with a Cabrio body.
The Opel Adam Cabrio should be placed on the market against competition such as the Citroen DS3 Cabrio or the Fiat 500C . The fabric roof will be divided into 3 pieces, and when it is assembled, the technicians will try to maintain the maximum volume of the cargo space.
The Adam Cabrio will get the engines taken from the classic version. It can therefore be expected that the customer will have the option of choosing between a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 70 hp and a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine with outputs of 87 and 100 hp.
If everything goes according to the automaker's plan, the Adam Cabrio could be put into production at the turn of 2013/2014.
