Nissan will start selling the rebranded Leaf in China

Venucia was already mentioned yesterday in connection with the R30 basic hatchback . Now we move to the other end of the brand's portfolio, where the e30 electric hatchback is featured.

The latter is nothing more than a slightly modified Nissan Leaf with a new front bumper, radiator grille and front headlights. The interior looks less valuable in the lower versions of the equipment without a central display and controls on the steering wheel, but even China was not deprived of an additional multimedia system , controls on the steering wheel or perhaps the glossy black decor of the center panel. The unconventional instrument panel was also preserved.

As in the case of the Leaf, the drive is handled by an electric motor with a power of 80 kW with a torque of 254 Nm and a maximum speed of 145 km/h. Energy supply is provided by lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 24 kW/h , which will provide the e30 with a range of about 175 km.

Sales will start in the second half of the year and the base price will not exceed 400,000 yuan (approx. 1,297,000 CZK), but thanks to incentives from the government for the purchase of an ecological car, the price could drop to 355,000 yuan (approx. 1,151,000 CZK).
