Nissan has released information and images for the European version of the Note

Europe will see it too! After the Japanese premiere last year and the overseas premiere this year in Detroit , Europe will also get a chance to get to know the new generation of the small MPV Note from Nissan .

And the design can definitely impress , because the homestead of the outgoing generation is gone. The front part is dominated by a distinctive radiator grille, which is connected to the headlights. The side line is decorated with a rising line of windows and an interestingly designed molding on the doors . The rear part seems to be the most ordinary, but again it definitely does not disappoint. The rich swaying is particularly interesting. To make the design even more interesting, the Dynamic Styling optical package will be available, which will modify both bumpers, add new sills and also a discreet rear spoiler.

You can forget the interior you know from the American version called Versa Note. For Europe, Nissan has reportedly upgraded the materials and also improved the appearance of the center console. It will offer circular ventilation outlets instead of square ones and a combined control for heating, air conditioning or radio in the style of Micra instead of three separate rotary controls. The alarm clocks, which are in the European specification in the chapel, have also undergone changes.

Dimensionally, the new Note will rank alongside the old one. It grew 17mm (4,100mm) in length , 4mm (1,695mm) wider , but 15mm ( 1,535mm ) shorter. The wheelbase has remained the same, i.e. 2600 mm, and you can load an extra 20 liters into the trunk ( 300 liters ).

Two petrol and one diesel engine will appear under the hood. The gasoline branch is represented by a pair of three-cylinders with a volume of 1.2 liters. The weaker, without turbocharging, will offer 80 hp and 110 Nm with a consumption of 4.7 l/100 km, and a more powerful version with a turbo will offer 98 hp and 142 Nm with a consumption of only 4.3 l/100 km. So far, diesel engines are represented only by the 1.5 dCi , for which, however, Nissan stated only a consumption of 3.6 l/100 km. There will be two transmissions for the time being – the basis for all versions is a 5-speed manual, for an additional fee you can get a CVT automatic.

Nissan refused to publish the exact price list yet, but said that three levels of equipment will be available – Visia, Acenta and Tekna . The menu of additional equipment will also include technical gadgets such as blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, detection of moving objects or the Around View Monitor system.
