2013 Nissan Pathfinder officially revealed

These days, the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has officially presented the new generation of the Pathfinder model, which will go on sale this autumn. But first in the United States.

The new generation abandons the proven and practically indestructible structure with a ladder frame and instead returns to a self-supporting body. One of the advantages of this solution is, for example, that the Pathfinder lost a significant 227 kilograms between generations.

Let's also look at the design of the vehicle. The latter is based on the Pathfinder Platinum concept, which was presented at the January auto show in Detroit . On the front part of the car, we are most interested in the large headlights forming a whole with the radiator grille. A worker slowly turns into a beauty, so chrome accessories and a panoramic roof cannot be missing. After all, even the interior can stand a comparison with the mainstream. The cabin should be spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. The equipment includes an iPod connection, heated/ventilated front seats, GPS navigation, three-zone air conditioning or an entertainment system such as a pair of DVD players.

And how is the power unit? Power of 194 kW (264 hp) will be supplied by a six-cylinder fork with a displacement of 3.5 liters connected to a transmission with continuously variable transmission. The advantage of this connection should be a drastic reduction in consumption compared to the previous generation.
