The Nissan Maxima saw a new generation

The Nissan Maxima , i.e. an upper middle-class sedan, was at one time also sold in our country under the nickname QX. However, wheat did not flourish for him, so he gradually withdrew back to the North American market , where he has been most successful throughout his career. Currently, the eighth generation is coming to the fore, attacking customers primarily with dynamic shapes.

Its reduction by 33 mm and stretching by 56 mm certainly has its share in the athletic profile of the body. Basic elements such as the V-shaped radiator grille, lights with a boomerang-shaped LED daytime running light or rich moldings on the side of the body are already familiar from the Murano crossover introduced last year. Thanks to the dark B and C pillars, the Maxima creates the impression of a floating roof. The shape of the tail lamps and, after all, their light signature largely corresponds to the front reflectors. 18-inch alloy wheels are standard, but if you choose the SR version, you get 19-inch diamond-cut rims. Coulis Red and Forged Bronze are another novelty.

The center console turned towards the driver, together with the flattened steering wheel and distinctive gearshift paddles, suggest that the new product will not only be a "settled" family sedan. The instrument panel consists not only of a pair of analog alarm clocks, but above all a seven-inch display , which complements the eight-inch screen of the NissanConnect multimedia system with navigation, digital radio and a number of useful applications. Optional equipment includes a Bose audio system and heated and ventilated seats. The standard upholstery is mainly leather, but for an extra charge you can get premium Ascot leather with alcantara elements.
