Nissan Juke Kuro – An even more challenging frog

The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan, which is known primarily for its uncompromising off-road vehicles, has currently launched a limited edition of the small Juke crossover. The direct competitor of the Mini Countryman will be nicknamed the Kuro, and according to Nissan's official press release, we really have a lot to look forward to.

The Nissan Juke Kuro is based on the Tekna trim level. However, the designers went back to the drawing board and played with the overall appearance of the controversial crossover. The main change is mainly the new 17" cast ten-spoke wheels, which have now been painted black. However, the main difference from the standard version is the color menu. The Kuro can only be ordered in two shades, Pearl Black and Force Red. Do you think these adjustments are not enough? However, after taking a look at the gallery, you will find that this is a visually more different car than it appears at first glance!

With a limited edition comes the limitation of the number of pieces produced. In the case of the Nissan Juke Kuro, there are 700 units, and customers will be informed of their serial number via a small plaque located on the dashboard.

Special order sales will begin on October 1, 2011, with customers able to choose from the full range of engines offered for the standard Juke. The Kuro will be available with a basic unit with a volume of 1.6 liters and a maximum output of 115 hp for 484,940, which is an increase of 35,940 compared to the standard model. The top version of the 1.6 DIG-T, with 190 horsepower, is priced at a whopping 529,700 NOK, which, on the other hand, is only an additional 10,700 NOK and is definitely worth considering!
