Nissan is heading to New York with a facelifted Versa sedan

Although the main attractions of the New York Auto Show will be seen at other stands, the modernized Nissan Versa is definitely not to be damned. The more and more thrifty American households will certainly appreciate a cheap sedan .

After the upgrade, the Versa looks pretty cool. Inspiration from the larger Altima model is known, especially in the front lights, bumper and radiator grille. The rear bumper also looks more aggressive, and starting with the SL specification, the new Versa has blinkers integrated into the rear-view mirrors . In addition, SV-trimmed models get a new design of fifteen-inch alloy wheels .

The interior received a center console from the recognition of the newer Versa Note model (only as Note in Europe). Another novelty is a steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth controls , a different instrument cluster and, depending on the version, also new seat upholstery. The S and S Plus versions will be equipped as standard with an audio system with AUX and RDS support, the SL Tech Package version has the NissanConnect multimedia system .

Under the hood, there is still a 110-horsepower 16-liter petrol engine with a torque of 145 Nm, which works with a five-speed manual, a four-speed automatic (S version) or an Xtronic stepless automatic. The basic price of the modernized sedan is 11,990 dollars (approx. 237,000 CZK), and there will be four trim levels – S, S Plus, SV and SL.
