Nissan presented a sports version of the small March model

Nissan brought another project to a successful conclusion. After last year's premiere of the Micra Nismo concept , the production form of the March Nismo (March is the Japanese name for the Micra) has now been revealed. And with a calm heart, we can call it a pocket GT-R !

The look is definitely aggressive and the new bodykit will turn the rather feminine base into a men's affair. You get new bumpers, sill extensions, a rear spoiler and a diffuser as standard. Obligatory modifications, but in the case of the Micra, they have beneficial effects. Larger wheels – here size 16 inches and sports tires – here Bridgestone Potenza cannot be a mistake.

The interior has also undergone changes. As in the case of the Juku Nismo, the Micra is mainly made of Alcantara , which was mainly used on the steering wheel. There are also sports seats that (hopefully) hold the body well when cornering and several Nismo badges.

Even technically, Nismo won. The basis is a sportier stiffer chassis and new steering. Under the hood, there is a 15-liter gasoline engine, which received a sports exhaust, intake and a modified control unit, thanks to which the output rose from 99 hp to 116 hp. The maximum torque is 156 Nm. The engine can be paired with a pair of transmissions – the base is a five-speed manual , an X-Tronic CVT automatic is available for an extra charge.

Prices on the Japanese market, where the March (Micra) Nismo will go on sale first, start at ¥ 1,540,350 (approx. CZK 310,000). The automatic version is more expensive by 229,950 yen (approx. 46,000 CZK).
