Nissan introduced the Pulsar model

Thanks to Nissan 's passion for innovation and technology, the family car sector has been transformed over the past seven years. Using the same design approaches and original ideas that gave birth to the Qashqai, X-Trail and Note models in the past, Nissan is now expanding its family of models with a new model, which is the family hatchback Nissan Pulsar .

Thanks to the characteristic V-shaped motif used by the Nissan brand on the radiator grille and strong and powerful curves, the model is clearly recognizable at first glance. The car shares the same genes that give the Qashqai and X-Trail the unmistakable presence and respect on the road. It combines strong lines with perfect details (such as LED lights), which gives it an athletic and elegant appearance. Like its fellow crossovers , it boasts massive wheel volume, curved side lines and a flowing profile.

The Pulsar model shows self-confidence and first-class design even in the interior , where it combines high-quality materials and a clear design language with an above-standard level of equipment.

With the longest wheelbase in its class (2700 mm) and sophisticated design, the new Pulsar provides significantly more legroom and shoulder room at the rear of the vehicle compared to competing cars in its segment. The new Pulsar also offers more knee room (692mm) than many of its D-segment competitors. Yet it retains a compact character (it's 4385mm long ), making it easy to park in tight city spaces.

In keeping with Nissan's innovative approach and intent to reduce vehicle owners' running costs, all engines for the Pulsar are turbocharged , offering the ideal combination of power and efficiency. The 1.2 DIG-T petrol engine with its power of 115 hp, the 1.5 dCi diesel engine offers a power of 110 hp and a torque of 260 Nm. At the beginning of 2015, the offer will be expanded with an even more powerful turbocharged petrol engine with a volume of 1.6 liters and a power of 190 hp.

The engines for the Pulsar continue Nissan's successful pursuit of smaller dimensions and high performance with low emissions. They show CO2 emissions below 95 g/km . The new Pulsar will also be available in a version with an advanced XTronic automatic transmission . It has been designed to offer drivers the best in every mode – ensuring completely smooth power transfer at low engine speeds and lively, immediate shifting at higher loads.

An integral part of the Pulsar model is the advanced safety system Nissan Safety Shield – a comprehensive set of systems and technologies that provide the driver with a comprehensive "safety net". Thanks to this advanced set of useful and highly advanced technologies, drivers can fully exploit the potential of the Pulsar and drive the car with complete confidence. Systems implemented in the new Pulsar model include emergency braking with forward obstacle detection , moving object recognition, lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring.

Thanks to Nissan's persistent drive to introduce new technology into its segments, the Pulsar is the only car in its segment to offer moving object recognition , lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring as standard on at least one version. The Nissan Pulsar also offers the second-generation NissanConnect system, which includes a wide range of innovative features such as full smartphone integration, Google Send-to-Car functionality and access to a range of practical and informative apps.
