Nissan presented an exclusive version of the e-NV200 van in Hannover

Soon after the launch of the ground-breaking 100% electric van Nissan e-NV200 , the Japanese manufacturer comes with a new luxuriously tuned version for transporting people , aptly named VIP.

Beneath the dramatic two- tone exterior hides a sophisticated and luxurious interior. The seats are covered in premium quality white leather with blue accents that contrast with the predominantly black lower part of the cabin – the upholstery and carpets are black and the controls are finished in piano black finish. The upper part of the cabin, including the ceiling, window frames and pillar covers, is white, which adds to the airy feel.

There are only four seats in the car – two in the front and two "club chairs" in the back . These are equipped with integrated seat belts, armrests and extendable footrests. Placing the rear seats well above the level of the sliding side doors not only made access to the passenger compartment as easy as possible, but also increased the legroom so that even the tallest passengers could enjoy incredible comfort. There is enough space behind the seats for luggage, making the e-NV200 VIP concept an ideal solution for airport transportation.

Rear passengers also get a 21.5-inch monitor with DSP , which can play discs from the on-board DVD player or display applications, movies or other images from the passengers' iPad or iPhone via Bluetooth connection. The center panel between the rear seats houses the monitor controls and cabin lighting, and also hides the drinks cooler. A large LED roof light subtly illuminates the rear seat area, and each seat has its own reading light.

Mechanically, the concept retains the standard design. It is powered by the same 80 kW AC synchronous electric motor and advanced 48-cell lithium-ion battery that were developed for the Nissan Leaf and e-NV200.
