Nissan is preparing to return to the main C segment with the new Pulsar model . The new model will be launched on May 20, 2014. The spacious five-door hatchback was designed to meet the specific demands of European customers . It will be produced at Nissan's Spanish plant in Barcelona.
The Pulsar model will renew Nissan's strong link with the C segment , the second largest sales segment in Europe. The all-new Pulsar has been designed with the signature quality and inventiveness of Nissan models. It will be launched on the market in autumn 2014 .
The name Pulsar has long been intertwined with the history of Nissan models – it first appeared in 1978. In the past forty years, this name has been carried by many models in the Asian and Australian markets. The Pulsar emblem also appeared in several European markets in the early 1990s on the N14 model.
