Nissan presented its second electric car

Nissan is currently one of the leaders in the field of electromobility , which was mainly helped by the Leaf hatchback. It will now have a bigger sibling in the form of the production version of the e-NV200 electric station wagon.

It basically offers the same elements as the Leaf – i.e. a lot of rounded curves, a front mask modified for recharging the batteries, aerodynamically optimized wheels, blue-tinted headlights and a lot of signs notifying the presence of an electric motor.

In addition to regular customers, among whom the e-NV200 will reach during the 2014 fiscal year , some cities will also make the electric passenger van available as a taxi service vehicle. The first will be Yokohama, which is also the home city of the brand, as part of the "Yokohama Mobility Project Zero" .

We will most likely learn more about the drive itself when it premieres at this year's Tokyo Motor Show . However, it can be assumed that compared to the concept, which had a 109 horsepower electric motor under the hood, the reality will not change much.
