Nissan introduced the Almera with the Nismo package

When we published an article yesterday about the expansion of the Nismo brand to other Nissan models, we had no idea that it would happen so quickly. Already this morning, Nissan unveiled the conceptual Almera Nismo Performance Package in Malaysia.

Although at first glance this car seems slightly comical, according to the press release, Nissan is serious about it. The biggest change compared to the classic Almera is the body kit. It consists of a new front and rear bumper, sill extensions, a rear spoiler and there is also a diffuser and a proper exhaust tip. The seventeen-inch wheels and Nismo war paint , which we know from the Juke or 370Z models, are also visually appealing.

The technology has also seen minor changes. New is a sports chassis and an exhaust system that sounds "harsher" than before. However, don't expect any changes under the hood. After opening it, you'll find a classic 102-horsepower 15-liter gasoline engine that works with a four-speed automatic.

Almera Nismo will have its world premiere during the race weekend of the international Super GT series in Malaysia. There is no talk of serial production yet.
