Nissan has added two seats to the interior of the e-NV200

Demand for the electric Nissan e-NV200 is growing, especially among business customers, but the Japanese automaker has not yet been able to offer them an interior with seven seats . However, since the engineers were counting on this configuration right from the start of production, there was no problem in speeding up the production of the seven-seat e-NV200.

The layout of the interior is thus in the new version 2+3+2 , while the second and third rows can be conveniently folded down to increase the space for luggage. The trio of seats in the second row fold forward in the classic way, but you have to tilt the third row quite uncomfortably to the side and anchor it in the trunk. This greatly reduces its usability. Even so, Nissan claims 2.94 m 3 of space in a two-seater configuration, which is said to be enough to transport three unfolded bicycles. In a seven-seat configuration, the trunk can hold 443 liters up to the cover, or 870 liters up to the roof. Additional air conditioning increases comfort for passengers on the rear seats.

The electric motor still has 109 horsepower and is powered by a 48-cell lithium-ion battery. The equipment includes the CHAdeMO fast charging system , which is the most widespread in Europe with more than 1,500 stations. The e-NV200 itself will be available in the Combi or Evalia version, and the automaker will start accepting the first orders in April. The main interest is expected among taxi companies, hotels or VIP carriers.
