Nissan brings the modernized 370Z Nismo to Europe as well

Nissan is strengthening its range of Nismo sports cars by bringing the extensively redesigned 370Z Nismo to European markets as well. The novelty follows in the footsteps of the flagship GT-R Nismo and brings a whole range of design and construction improvements. It is the sportiest and most tuned model of the 370Z series to date.

The front bumper was completely redesigned, which is equipped with a larger air intake pipe. It also offers additional air intakes to the wheel arches and LED daytime running lights . Other novelties include headlights with a black underline, a special red Nismo strip in the lower part of the bumper, revised side skirts and side mirrors and a special Nismo emblem. Also new are 19″ Rays alloy wheels in black and silver. The rear part of the car has been gifted by Nissan with a new bumper and spoiler design, which is smaller and, in cooperation with the new front bumper , creates a significantly higher downforce when driving at high speed. At the same time, the downforce is more evenly distributed between the front and rear axles, which gives the driver a sense of greater balance of the car on the road.

The interior is equipped with new Recaro seats , based on the acclaimed Sportster type, which have been specially adapted for use in the 370Z Nismo model and offer a number of small adjustments aimed at providing the driver with maximum support. Using a new shell seat construction instead of the traditional tubular frame allowed Nissan to improve the rigidity of the seats as well, while reducing their weight. The highlight of the interior transformation is the upholstery of the seats in red and black leather and Alcantara , which is color coordinated with the steering wheel.

The Nissan 370Z Nismo continues to be powered by a 3.7-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 344 hp. Thanks to exceptional torque at low revs and a wide range of power, the 370Z can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. And thanks to the Nismo dual exhaust system, it offers a great sporty sound. As now, only the coupe will be available with a six-speed manual transmission . The chassis has a wheel suspension that received many improvements as part of the modernization for the 2015 model year. In order to improve driving comfort, the characteristics of the suspension and shock absorbers of the rear wheels have been modified, while the modification of the floor mats and inner protectors of the rear wheel arches has reduced road noise even more.

In addition to the significant upgrade to the Nismo brand's flagship model, Nissan has also made a number of design and engineering changes to the rest of the 370Z range , designed to improve the driving experience and offer customers even better value for money. Among the many small changes for the 2015 model year are 18″ alloy wheels with steel metallics or the new Spinal seats , which have been designed to offer better support and more rigidity. The seats use a shell construction that is stronger and at the same time lighter than previous models with metal frames. The result is a better driving position, more comfort when cornering at high speeds and a sportier appearance.

Rounding out the 370Z range's suite of upgrades is a redesigned suspension that provides improved ride quality and reduced cabin noise. Changes that appear across the range (including Nismo models) include reworked suspension and rear damper characteristics , new inner wheel arches and new floor mats. Together, these improvements allow drivers to enjoy the 370Z's powerful performance without compromise.
