Already next month, the anticipated Alfa Romeo 4C will go on sale

Although the Alfa Romeo 4C was presented in series form in March this year at the Geneva show, complete information , including a large number of photos, was revealed only a few days ago, as the new sports model will enter the European market next month.

The basic version will be aimed mainly at driving puritans, in other words, for true connoisseurs who can manage without redundant systems. In the cabin, not only the digital instrument panel will stand out, but also the leather-covered steering wheel and cloth sports seats. On the outside, gray brake calipers, a dual exhaust system and a set of 17-18-inch alloy wheels will be interesting.

If you are not interested in the "combed" alternative, you have the option of choosing the Racing package . The latter includes a sporty leather steering wheel, a sportier exhaust system and race-tuned suspension . 18-19 inch alloy wheels with AR Racing tires are also standard. If you like luxury, you can choose the Luxury package , which has better leather seats and, above all, Bi-LED headlights that are surrounded by carbon.

The client of American nationality can also buy some Mopar accessory , for example – carbon rear spoiler, black, red or yellow brake calipers; carbon or chrome exterior mirror covers; carbon interior trim ; carbon fiber around the front headlights; racing exhaust system; race-tuned suspension with new dampers and springs or better anti-roll bars.

The Alfa Romeo 4C also has 15% lighter glass compared to standard. The most interesting thing is that the Italian sports car rides on a monocoque weighing only 65 kg . Under the hood is a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.75 TBi with a power of 240 hp and a torque of 350 Nm. The power unit is connected to a dual-clutch transmission , with which the Alfa Romeo 4C with a weight of 895 kg (without driver) accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 258 km/h. Combined consumption should be around 6.8 l/100 km and CO 2 emissions should be 157 g/km.

The Italian automaker will produce 3,500 units per year , of which only a thousand are intended for European customers. The starting price is set at 53,600 Euro (converted to about 1.38 million crowns). We are curious what price the Czech representative office of Alfa Romeo will come up with. I recommend viewing the large photo gallery and above all the exciting video in which Giancarlo Fisichella , the former Italian Formula 1 pilot, really gives the Italian beauty a hard time.
