Suzuki news for the Tokyo Auto Salon

The sporty design of the eighth generation Suzuki Alto will definitely be one of the most interesting exhibits at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon . Next to it, two new concepts based on the Hustler crossover will also be presented at the stand of the Japanese "S".

You can recognize the Suzuki Alto Turbo RS from the classic Alto at first glance, and not only thanks to the two-tone exterior with distinctive 17-inch red alloy wheels. The ribs in the asymmetric front mask are no longer horizontal, but vertical, the "glasses" around the front headlights have a more pronounced chrome design , and the hood, roof and profile of the car are decorated with a distinctive body sticker. The interior is not captured in the pictures, but it is said to have received Recaro sports seats . Under the hood, as the name suggests, there is a turbocharged three-cylinder with a volume of 0.66 liters with a probable output of 64 hp (the maximum of the kei cars category). Despite Suzuki's claim that it is only a concept, the Alto Turbo RS will almost certainly make it into series production.

Those are, at least, quite distant two concepts based on the crossover Hustler presented last year, which incidentally became the car of the year in Japan. The Hustler Road Bike has a body in yellow, which is contrasted by a black roof, graphics on the hood and side of the body, respectively 17-inch alloy wheels with interchangeable color segments. Ground clearance is slightly lower than the standard model, and there is a special bike rack on the roof. The Huslter Outdoor also has a two-tone body, but with a combination of green body and white roof, front bumper and alloy wheels. The first bumper, roof and mirror covers are decorated with a motif of colored stickers. The ground clearance is a few numbers higher than that of the serial model, the adventurous nature is underlined by the plastic lining of the mudguards and door sills.
