Some time ago, a rumor began to circulate that the Honda S2000 would return to the offer of this automaker. But this time we will most likely see an economy coupe with an engine in the middle. The original S2000 was a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive roadster. The new S2000 would thus complement the new hybrid supersport NSX and the small sports model S660 in the offer. And the new S2000 should resemble both of these cars visually. It should be powered by a turbocharged two-liter from the new Civic Type-R , which would be supplemented by an electric motor. The expected power should be 272 kW, the weight of the car should not exceed 1300 kg. a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission would transmit it to the rear wheels. The price should be lower than 1.5 million crowns.
