The Ram Ruble Bee sports pickup was launched exactly ten years ago. On this occasion, the Chrysler concern decided to remember this car with the new Ram 1500 Rumble Bee concept .
Like the original model, the new concept is inspired by the muscle cars with the Bumble Bee logo that were on offer in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The modern Rubmle Bee has its basis in the 1500 R/T model , compared to which it offers a very striking matte yellow paint Drone Yellow , which is complemented by black twenty-four-inch wheels, darkened headlights and other details in black.
The interior features sports seats with yellow centers and yellow thread stitching. Perhaps the strangest element, however, is the rotary selector of the automatic transmission, in which a real bee is placed in amber! If the controller lights up, the background behind the bee has a honeycomb texture.
Under the hood is an eight-cylinder 5.7 Hemi with a capacity of 400 horsepower, which is connected to an eight-speed automatic that sends power to the rear axle. A proper soundtrack is provided by the Mopar exhaust system.
And the good news at the end. Ram is reportedly thinking about producing a limited number of pieces !
