The modified Toyota Mark X has an atmospheric six-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive

At the beginning of this year, Toyota presented an extremely interesting concept sports sedan Mark X modified by Gazoo Racing. For almost a year, the large sedan has been aiming for this in limited numbers among ordinary customers.

And the GRMN Mark X surprisingly goes into production in exactly the same form as the previously mentioned concept. It means that the body is equipped with an aerodynamic bodykit , consisting of modified bumpers, side skirts and a decent carbon rear spoiler. The sedan also has a roof made of carbon-reinforced plastics, two exhaust tips, carbon mirror covers and nineteen-inch BBS wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires. The interior impresses with sports seats with suede upholstery and contrasting stitching, an alcantara-covered steering wheel with a marked ideal position, decors made of carbon and piano lacquer, new carpets and a modified instrument panel. You'd be looking in vain for a multimedia system that went outside for the sake of weight savings.

However, the most important thing is still hidden under the hood. The 3.5-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder has 321 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 380 Nm at 4,800 rpm, which is transmitted to the rear wheels by a six-speed manual transmission and Torsen self-locking differential. Thanks to the additional reinforcements, the chassis should be slightly stiffer than that of the serial model, and at the same time it received a sporty tuning. The same can be said about disc brakes .

A total of 100 units will be completely disassembled by those interested in the Japanese market, where the price starts at 5.4 million yen (approx. 980,000 crowns).
