The unique Mitsuoka has a tweed-upholstered interior

You could see for yourself that Mitsuoka is a specialist in unorthodox car models not only through the Ryugi sedan , but above all through the Orochi sports car . However, the brand's longest-running model is the Viewt small sedan , reminiscent of the Jaguar MkII, with Nissan Micra technology. In addition to the original bodywork, the Twilight limited edition impresses perhaps with an even more original interior.

From the world of luxury limousines or SUVs, we already know interiors upholstered in perforated leather, suede or silk. However, the Viewt Twilight has the headliner, lower parts of the dashboard, door panels and seats upholstered in British Harris Tweed checkered tweed . It is world famous for the production of this material, while the entire production process has strict rules. The wool must come from the Outer Hebrides , where it is also spun, cleaned and dyed. In the same place, the wool is then woven by hand, often by only one weaver, in small looms, where we usually find only one loom. The Harris Tweed label is also protected by law! So you can imagine that getting permission to upholster the interior of a car with this material was not exactly a simple matter.

The exclusive fabric is complemented by orange leather and an orange painted dashboard equipped with a multimedia system. The body with special edition badges is painted in Twilight Orange shade . Only 15 of these unique cars will be produced, with a petrol Nissan 1200 under the hood, which is paired with a continuously variable CVT automatic. Price? 2.79 million yen (approx. 517,000 crowns).
