Mitsubishi is celebrating its 40th birthday in the UK and could hardly have chosen a better gift for its fans . It gave them a special edition Lancer Evolution X with FQ-440 MR livery.
At first glance, it's clear that you won't confuse this Evo with any other . The Frost White paint, the only one in the offer by the way, is complemented by eighteen-inch BBS wheels and bi-xenon headlights. The interior features Recaro sports seats with leather upholstery, a steering wheel made of the same material, GPS navigation and Rockford Fosgate audio.
However, more important changes took place under the hood of the car. First of all, thanks to the HKS turbocharger , reprogrammed control unit, new intercooler, Janspeed intake and modified fuel injectors, the engine has increased power to 446 hp with a torque of 558 Nm. A sports exhaust system provides a better sound background, while the six-speed dual-clutch transmission Sports Shift transfers power.
The chassis, equipped with Eibach springs , was lowered by 35 mm at the front and 30 mm at the rear. Alcon brakes are also new, and each model is equipped with a data collector that stores information about driving style or the condition of the car.
Only 40 pieces will be produced and each of them will cost 50,000 pounds (approx. 1,647,000 CZK).
