Mitsubishi revealed the concept of a new pickup in Geneva

Mitsubishi 's offer in the segment of off-roads, SUVs and pickups currently includes four models . Among the oldest are the Pajero and the L200 pickup truck , and it is the latter that could soon see a successor.

This could come, for example, from the GR-HEV concept , which the diamond car company is exhibiting in Geneva. The pickup will definitely impress with its unconventional aerodynamic design with a prominent front part, ground clearance and wheels. The rear part will then offer a similar headlight design as the front part and also a covered body.

More important than looks, however, is the drive for this car. The latter is provided by a hybrid system consisting of a Clean Diesel diesel engine and an electric motor . None of the engines have been further specified and all we know is the fact that the GR-HEV will not emit more than 149 g of CO2/km into the atmosphere. Transmission of power to the road is provided by an automatic transmission in cooperation with modified all-wheel drive and the S-AWC dynamics control system , which can be adjusted to four modes.

The car company has not yet commented on possible series production, but I would not be afraid to bet my neck on the fact that we will see a drive system similar to this in one of the Mitsubishi models in the future.
